About This Product
REHAU OWB pipe is a factory pre-insulated, two-pipe PEXa system built for running buried hot-water supply and return lines from an outdoor wood boiler to the house. Two 1-1/4 in. RAUPEX O2-barrier PEXa carrier pipes are embedded in a solid, closed-cell polyurethane foam core — the closed-cell structure keeps the insulation from soaking up groundwater over decades underground — and the whole assembly is protected by a rugged, UV-resistant polyethylene outer shell rated for direct burial 2 to 8.5 ft deep. Backed by REHAU's 25-year warranty when installed per their guidelines. Rated 160 psi @ 73.4°F / 100 psi @ 180°F.
